Hope we have all learnt from Chernobyl and? recently Japan that green energy is the safest way forward. We should be focusing on improving solar/wind/geo-thermal/wave energy to make them more efficient.

A new study in the peer-reviewed science journal "Remote Sensing" has found that United Nations computer models may be incorrect in overstating the amount of global warming that will occur in the future. James M. Taylor says it would be wise for the media, elected officials and climate scientists to recognize the "huge discrepancy" between global warming predictors and? NASA's satellite data.

Keep on trucking. It's just a matter of time before the green energy revolution captures the imagination of everyone and becomes the rule? rather the exception to the rule. Hopefully burning oil will soon be outlawed.

I don't know about wind farms. I've heard mixed reports on them. The main problem is that they swallow up acres and acres of valuable real estate. I've read that for wind turbines to make a? difference in the energy needs of the United States, the whole state of Texas would have to become one giant wind turbine farm, from border to border. This sounds terrifying to say the least.

I live in Niagara Falls, New York. Where like 90 percent of our areas electricity comes from the hydroelectric plant powered by the Niagara Falls. Now? I don't know of the intricate workings of a hydroelectric plant, but wouldn't it be theoretically possible to build a self-sustaining waterfall for areas that use tons of energy?

Apparently all you Green imbeciles have forgotten that, in the 80's, it was the Green Party in Germany and Europe that were the anti-American anti-nuclear pro-Soviet agitators. Is it any wonder that today's leftist socialists have? usurped the name "Green" for their phony Environmentalism which is really nothing more than an anti-Capitalist power grab?

@mountainmink . The part where you? state "it gets hotter" without having proof shows you aren't a scientist.
By: mountainmink. on 17 Jan 11, 20:43:56
@Twilightifyable This guy really calls himself a scientist? Carbon traps heat, you release it into the? atmosphere it gets hotter, simple.
By: mountainmink. on 17 Jan 11, 20:41:51
@Twilightifyable Find fuel other than oil, simple. Green energy is abundant. If all the money being poured into drilling was transfered to green energy research we could have it, but? they`re not about to let that happen. They have a system that works for them.

2/2 Cap and Trade (American Power Act) would increase taxes on the average household up to $3200 according to the RNC gas prices increase by $2.58 a gallon according to George C. Marshall Institute. With Obama demanding the cessation of offshore drilling gas prices are expected to increase yet another $5 a gallon, because we would grow dependent upon foreign nations we are not? allies with in order to provide our oil. They would price gouge w/ gas prices increasing to $10/gal! Allen West 2012

1/2 Leading Climate Scientist John R. Christy researched two independent data sets, weather balloon? and satellite. He found from this information gathered from the bulk of the atmosphere that climate change was neither catastrophic nor anthropogenic. He also stated that increase in surface temperatures in the cities were because of pavement, concrete and structures. It's not the result of greenhouse gases. . watch?v=6mLtGLG3MDg . begin at 3:37 watch?v=v2XALmrq3ro
