Here's a thought. The huge hub could be blocking air flow getting through the cooling holes in your stator / magnet plates....But then again, I've not yet built any, so what do I know. Some? nice looking rigs.

beautiful blades love the lamination's. they look like fine furniture through the finish, magnets are massive, were they the cause of? the first stator blowing up? whats a magnet like that go for? it must make some nice power, hope it's still up and running for you, what would you do different ? hope you don't mind the questions just a lil mill envy........cheers from Delaware USA.

nice work!i love the looks of the wood blades.i have always wanted to build a axleflux generator.how good do the blades work in low to average winds?say 5 to 15 mph?very nice work. can you buy this in a kit?i would love to build a small one first to get the feeling and experience of building the wind mill.thanks for showing? your nice work!alsum! how long do the wood blades last while in constant use??im going to try to build one in the future.thanks again
